I use Firefox 3.6.19 and please let me start and say that the reason I do is down to which browser works best with my older system, right that's out of the way I will try and explain this little problem.

I use the new Yahoo Mail, and I have noticed that when using a bookmark for this on the toolbar it seems to have a problem opening it and can often take ages, I have noticed if I right click and then click on open instead of just clicking it seems to open right away.

If the bookmark is in the main menu on the left hand side it opens right away, so my question is why would this be that the main menu is working for this link and yet the toolbar needs be to right click on open for it to work immediately?

Intuitively I would expect both methods to take a similar time. I do not notice differences own my own setup. Have you put other bookmarks on the toolbar ? do others bookmarks have the problem or is it only Yahoo mail.

By main menu on the left hand side I assume this is the sidebar that can be opened and closed using (in Windows) Ctrl + B

It seems to be only the launch of the new Yahoo Mail that causes this issue.

Yes that is what I meant by main menu.

I wonder if other users also see this problem on Yahoo Mail?
it is not something I use. Are any on Yahoo forums mentioning the problem ?

The issue seems to be ok now, however I installed spybot earlier, and it found 4 items, one was a trojan, it was in the windows/system and ended in .awz, so I fixed it and purged it which removes it, so I am unsure whether it's something that has been sorted by that or Yahoo themselves.
