I think I deleted a bookmarks menu folder how can I recover just one folder?
I was reorganizing my bookmark folders and accidentally deleted a folder. I used the search function for both the folder and some of the content I knew was in the folder & found nothing, so I'm thinking I must have deleted it -- I had had 2 folders in different locations that had the same name (one empty & one filled with bookmarks). And I thought I had deleted the empty one, beyond that I really don't know what happened.
Is there a way to recover just one deleted folder. I saw the articles about saving your current bookmarks on the hard disk and then restoring the previous bookmarks. Do I have to go that far and if I do can I then take the one folder and save it somewhere else, then restore my "actual" bookmarks and then somehow move or copy the folder I recovered into my bookmarks menu. Or create a new folder under Bookmarks Menu then just copy the url's from the recovered folder into the new folder?
Thanks, I am at a loss (literally).

If you have accidentally removed bookmarks then use "Organize > Undo" in the bookmarks manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) to get them back.
The Organize button is the first of the three buttons on the toolbar in the Library (Bookmarks Manager).
That only works if you haven't closed Firefox.
If it didn't work or wasn't possible then restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup.
First make an HTML and a JSON backup of the current bookmarks, then you can restore the current bookmarks later.
If you found the lost bookmarks in one of the JSON backups then copy that folder to the clipboard (Organize > Copy or right-click the folder).
Restore the previously saved JSON backup to get the old bookmarks back and paste the folder from the clipboard back ot the original location.
