Can I set FF to automatically open in Google when I open a new tab instead of having to also click on the Home button?

more options

I often open a new tab and I'd like it to automatically open in Google.com rather than a blank page. Is there a way to make this happen? (I know I can click on the + to open a new tab and then click on the Home icon at the far right of the web address bar but I'd like to have Google open in one click instead of two).

You can middle-click the Home button to have your homepage open in a new tab. Or you can install this extension and set its' option for your homepage.
