Firefox opens with aprox. 140 MB of RAM. According to Windows 7 Task Manager display Firefox continuously consumes memory until it reaches 1.5 - 1.6 gigabyte. Then only a force close can solve the problem because the window is not responding anymore. The process takes about 5 minutes. No other programs are affected. No other program is consuming significant cpu capacity utilization.

I got the same problem too - not only on 6.XXX versions, but 7.XXX betas!!!

5 tabs open, 730MB memory used. ONLY IE and Opera are the ONLY browsers now that are not affected with this, IMO.

Guys - do something asap. Mozilla is my favorite browser, i dont it to be favorite 'in the past'

PS Please dont reply with 'it is beta'... 6 version has same problem too.
