suddenly, there is a "ghost" page. there is "firefox" in top right corner and "new tab where present page is usually listed. How do i get rid of both? or do i have to drop firefox and use i-net explorer?

suddenly there is a ghost page { 2 pages stacked, i see top of both} one page has "firefox" in top left corner. also a tab called "new tab" has taken over where the present page is usually listed. how do i get rid of both, or do i have to start useing I-net explorer to get rid of it?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
