Whenever I do a Google search for something, I am presented with a number of websites in which I may be interested, in the normal fashion. However, when I click on any of these sites I am redirected away to another site which has no relevance to my search. I then have to copy and paste site addresses in to the Navigation bar in order to go to a site of interest. This is very annoying. How do I stop this redirect feature?

Can you recreate this in a Video

  • Screenr will allow you to record the video with no downloading of software

Also if you have Add-on Toolbars, try disabling them. Yahoo Toolbar did to me what you are describing...

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
