Most other apps only show this warning the first time they launch after installation.

I read a similar question and the answer was instructions on how to make sure Firefox is installed correctly. I did install Firefox exactly how the instructions said.

This has happened both with 10.0.0 and 10.0.1.

Hi,

I'm sorry you're having this problem, what are you clicking to 'launch' Firefox?

Thanks, Michelle

Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.

Open the Firefox disk image (DMG) file and drag the Firefox program to the application folder on your hard drive.
You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but drag it out of the DMG folder instead.

To launch Firefox, I am clicking on the icon in my dock. Or it is auto-launching when I restart my computer.

I did install Firefox, and I think properly, by opening the DMG file and dragging the Firefox icon in the open DMG to the application folder right next to it in the DMG.

If this is *not* the same as dragging the Firefox icon from the DMG to the APPLICATIONS file on my Mac, then I'm annoyed, because it acts like it's working.
