usb audio device does not work with Firefox. works fine with IE. Any way I can get it to work with Firefox?

Its a Dell usb sound bar. When streaming video through firefox, no sound. I do hear the general system sounds. The usb sound bar works fine when streaming video through IE. Any advice would be helpful. I'm fairly computer illiterate, so the simpler, the better! Thanks.

This may occurs of security. try to download https everywhere and add it to the fire fox. problem may solve.
