Firefox crashes
Hello, I have a habit of having a lot of tabs open at once and, though that hasn't really affected the performance of Firefox on my computer before, I'm not sure what else it could be. When I open Firefox, the icon bounces and then Crash Reporter opens instead, or only the Crash Reporter opens, but when I quit or restart Firefox from there, it simply does the same thing. Firefox never opens, it's always the Crash Reporter. No matter how many bug sweeps, or how much hard drive maintenance, or how may times I reboot or anything it seems, I can't get Firefox to open, only the Crash Reporter.

Hey sylvancinema,
Have you tried starting Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode? If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
There is also a lot of useful stuff in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) Knowledge Base article. If you've recently upgraded, you might want to check out this article as well.
Hopefully this helps!
Hi Matt_G, Yes, I've tried restarting in Safe Mode, and Firefox still won't open. Thank you though. Maybe I should re-install it? I'm not sure what else to do.
Did you submit any bug reports to Mozilla?
If you have submitted Breakpad crash reports then post the IDs of one or more Breakpad crash reports (bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).
You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.
You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website.
