Why does not Shockwave Flash update?

I'm running on Windows Vista business with service pack 2. Firefox's (13.0.1) plug-in list said to upgrade Shockwave Flash. I did it but even if I restart computer, the plug-in still needs to be updated. Could someone help me? Thank you very much.
