How do I stop Firefox from installing a shortcut to my desktop every time I restart the computer?

Even though I move it to the trash, it keeps showing up on my desktop after every restart. It's like a zombie that just won't die.

I think I resolved it. I went to my Documents and Settings folder > All Users folder > Start Menu folder > Programs. There was a shortcut in there. I removed it and it hasn't come back. Thanks all.

Maybe it is not Firefox that is doing that, but some security software that is restoring the desktop to its previous appearance.
