What changed in Firefox versions 15,16 & 17 while viewing network security cameras?
I have been viewing my network Axis security camera's over my local area network for years with Firefox. After update version 15, I can only view the image for a few seconds before I have to reload the page because the image will disappear. The camera's server stays up, but the video image is gone, and telling me to reload page. After a reload it comes back in. Sometimes it will only last 5 sec's, other times between 30 & 60 sec's. If I downgrade to version 14.0.1, it all works fine like it should again. Am I doomed to use this version now forever? Or is there a way to tweak the newer version to let me view the video image longer? Camera's video image is in Motion JPEG format and I have the latest Java & flash installed. I also have tried Firefox with all plugins disabled and it still don't help. I have 64 bit Windows 7 for operating system.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
Started Firefox 17 in safe mode and disabled all plugins, extensions & themes. Also unchecked hardware acceleration and the problem is still there. It seems to be worse with multiple camera's in different tabs. When I downgrade to 14.0.1 version I can have three camera's in different tabs and click between them without losing the images. See attached image of what I get when image disappears in FF versions 15,16 & 17.
This problem is the same on 3 different computers. My desktop plus 2 laptops. All have 64 bit windows 7 OS. When I roll back to version 14.0.1, everything is fine and I can keep the camera view images up for hours. I guess I am stuck with the older version of Firefox until this is fixed.
