How to enable home blank page?
I always want to have my home page in blank without any other ad, as I do in IE. How can I enable the blank page?
Chosen solution
You can set your home page to blank on the Options > General dialog in the "Startup" section. See article and image below.
You can set your New Tab ("+") button to open a new tab to a blank page by setting the preference browser.newtab.url to about:blank using about:config
- See - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-tab-page-show-hide-and-customize-top-sites#w_how-do-i-turn-the-new-tab-page-off

Other - Check your Plugins and update as needed.

Under Firefox orange Menu. Select Options > Options. Then Under General You can set Your Home page.
To set a blank page as Your Home page, You can use about:blank in the Home Page Text area.

Solved the problem in part, because blank, blank it is not.

Sorry, posted wrong image. Replaced with correct image above.
Setting your home page to about:blank, as shown above, should solve this :)
btw: Firefox 23.0.1 IGNORES(!) about:blank, either in awasome bar/address bar or in option home page.
Nope, about:blank works just fine in Firefox 23.0.1, must be something wrong with your Firefox. try to Reset it, and if you continue to have trouble, start a new thread :)
khelmsch_de has created a thread here: [/questions/968606]
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

@Tylerdowner: you're right! Seemingly Tab Mix Plus 0.4.1.0 ignores [about:blank], with disabled add-on the command works again. Sorry ... :-)
