How do I restore previous Firefox settings after inadvertantly restoring default settings?
I had a problem with a website and the stupid support person had me restore Firefox to its default settings. Stupider me, I did it without realizing what would happen. In the process I got a file called "Old Firefox Data." Is there a way I can use that to restore all my old add-ons, etc., so that Firefox looks like and works the way I am used to?

Your original issue that caused you to Reset Firefox, is important in answering your question. Usually problems with a website is not cause for using Firefox Reset, unless nothing else works to correct the problem. I can find no other questions under this user name about the issue in this forum.

If an add-on was causing the problem that led you to Reset Firefox, restoring all of them from the old data file in bulk could result in a reappearance of the same problem in your new profile.
- If that is the case, reinstalling one add-on (or a few) at a time is advisable, until you see the problem reappear.
