Beta?

Hey forumers...nothing too serious this time, but it is something I would like to know.

I am a Tumblr user, and in order to make my experience on there as easy as possible, I use Xkit. Some of you may be familiar with it, others won't...that's not really relevant though.

What is relevant is this- Xkit does not run on Firefox 23 Beta, so I have had to downgrade to 22 for the time being (as far as I know). So, question: Any idea when 23 will be out of Beta? Or is it already out of Beta, and I just got one of the Beta versions when I reset Firefox?

Firefox 23 has been released earlier last week (on Tuesday)

You can find the full version of the latest Firefox 23.0 release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

Hey cor-el, one more question.

You know how you can see your Firefox version/get Firefox updates from the "About Firefox" tab under "Help"? Do those only update with the non-Beta versions?

Using Help > About Firefox works for all channels, except for special "test" builds.

The Release channel updates from one release version to the next release version.

Beta updates to the next Beta update. Aurora updates to the next Aurora update. Nightly updates to the next Night update. Updates never change to a different channel.

Did XKit fail, or were you going by that message on their download page? Just wondering whether anyone has actually tested it in Firefox 23.
