Some of my text is showing up highlightened.
I didn't have this issue until I just uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it again (my former version didn't have highlighted text.) For example: When I go to sites and read stuff, some of the text is randomly highlighted in orange. If you hover your mouse over it, a link comes up on the concern.
How can I disable this?

You may have enabled a NoFollow feature in an extension to highlight links.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
I have seen in your sistem details that you have an exstension named "TopArcadeHits". It s a malware that infects firefox.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

I messed around a bit with the plugins. I noticed when I turn off Shockwave Fash 11.9.900.117 it stops, but I'm unable to watch videos any more.
Is there any way I can turn off just the text hightenlightened feature?
I tried all the programs so far, but Hitman Pro and AntiRookkit. Nothing worked so far, other than turning off Shockwave flash.
Should I even bother with trying the other two?
Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
Did you try Safe Mode?
I did, but it didn't work.
The in-text ad is called "infolinks". I'm unable to take a screen shot at the moment, but I will later if I still need to.
