Firefox button missing on imac with os x 10.9
I just installed Firefox 26.0 on an imac with OS X 10.9. The intro video discussed the uses of the Firefox button and such a button does not appear. I have restarted Firefox and the button still does not appear.

The Firefox button isn't available on Mac, because the Menu Bar is part of the Mac operating system.
The orange Firefox button is only on Windows and Linux does have a not coloured Firefox button if menu bar is hidden.

Hi,
Most toolbars can be shown or hidden depending on your needs. To show or hide the Firefox button, right-click on an empty section of the Tab Strip and check or uncheck Menu Bar in the pop-up menu.
Hope this helps!

Curtis,
Thanks for your post. I tried that but Menu Bar did not show up on the pop up menu. Rather I got Navigation Tool Bar (checked), Bookmarks Toolbar (also checked), Add-On Bar (not checked but I checked it and nothing seemed to happen) and Customize (which produced a menu that did not contain anything that seemed useful).
Have I done something wrong/
Thanks again,
Barry
Hi,
Try unchecking Navigation Toolbar.
Curtis
Nada. Tied it and only the Navigation bar disappeared. Nothing else happened.

Thanks a lot. Strange that Firefox didn't mention that in their intro to version 26.0
