how to move contacts to one folder

I have three "folders" in my address book, Personal, one I imported from a vcf file, and a Collected one from replies to emails. How do I get them all into one. It wont let me copy and paste.

Try drag and drop the contacts, select the contact, drag and drop in the folder icon in the sidebar
