When I try to log in it says my user name or password is incorrect. When I click on "I forgot my password" and enter my email address it says it has sent me an email to reset the password but I never get the email.

I'm not sure what you mean with the add-ons section.

Are you visiting the addons.mozilla.org website directly?

Firefox doesn't require a name and password to be started.

Make sure to download and install Firefox from the official Mozilla servers to avoid getting unwanted extras or an otherwise modified Firefox version.

Download and save the full Firefox installer to the desktop.
You can find the full version of the current Firefox 28.0 release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

Be sure to do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program folder.

  • (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
  • (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
  • Do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.

I am in the add-ons section and it's asking me to log in or register. I am always having trouble when I reinstall, reset, or update Firefox, so I am reluctant to do this. I mainly have trouble with Reminderfox and loosing my reminders and loosing my pinned tabs.

The reason for being in the add-ons section is that I have downloaded Timerfox (the add-ons says I have it) but I don't see anything anywhere (tool bar or desktop) and I don't know how to use it. Can anyone help? Thanks.
