Reinstall did not fix. As different user, FF worked. How to get FF to work again? Upon trying to start FF 34.05, only the menu item "Firefox" was displayed (i.e., no File, Edit, View, ...). Although I could click on the Firefox menu "Quit" nothing happened, so I had to Force Quit the Firefox app. Restarted Mac after this and still did not work. Tried "safe start up" by holding Option key, but that did not do anything.

I did a reinstall, but that did not help. I removed the ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox folder, but that did not help. [Did not restart after doing this and will try that next although I don't expect this to help]
