Why can't I log into my Macys.com account from Firefox? I can do it through Microsoft Edge (but would rather not)

I get an error from Firefox when trying to log into my Macys.com account. It says I don't have permissions to log on. However I have no problems logging in through Microsoft Edge. I'd rather not use Edge, but if Firefox is going to be difficult and deny access I guess I'll have to.

You can update to Firefox 44, that should fix this issue.

Confirmed. It could be a website problem. I tried several links I found on web search engines. All were blocked.

I just tried with firefox in Safe Mode. Same problem. I then tried using Windows Internet Explorer. No problem. https://www.macys.com/account/signin?cm_sp=navigation-_-top_nav-_-signin

This could be a cookie issue. There are some redirects that come with a request to set a cookie and it looks that Firefox isn't sending this cookie to the new location. It does work for me in Firefox 44 (currently in release candidate state), so you need to wait until Firefox 44 gets released officially.

Thanks for responding, Cor-el. I had cleared cookies and cache, not helpful. Guess the users need to wait or use another browser.

Not necessarily a bug with Firefox 43 as 43 has been out since Dec 15 and 43.0.4 update came out on Jan 6. It is only just very recently the Macys issue has been reported about.

Also your bug is more Tech Evangelism.

Also Firefox 42.0 and SeaMonkey 2.39 users get this to and it uses same Gecko as Firefox 42.0 on https://www.macys.com/account/signin
