How can I install Thunderbird on an external harddrive, so that all emails end up on the external harddrive? Can I direct emails to an external hd from my PC?

I want my emails on my external harddrive. How do I get them to go there directly? Thank you.

Chosen solution

Go to the Thunderbird profile folder. - Open Explorer, enter %appdata% in address bar and hit enter. - There you will find a folder called Thunderbird. Open it. - Copy/Move the sub-folder from the Profiles folder to your designated location - Open the profiles.ini - Change IsRelative to 0 - Change Path to something like that: K:\Thunderbird 3\Profiles\b8p1vx2s.default (with the new path of your profile folder)

Thank you so much! I think I'll grab my son (or grandson!) to help me, so I don't blow it. Great to know there's a way. I appreciate your help.
