Why are the tabs going clear (I can see my desktop thru them) and the close, mimimize, and exit symbols vanishing with the new update?

The tabs at the top, for different pages, are see thru. I can see my desktop thru them, and the symbols on the right, for closing, minimizing/expanding and X'ing out, are gone/invisible. I can still click on the see thru tabs most of the time, but I can't close it, minimize/expand it or completely exit out of it (close all open tabs at once). If I want to completely exit out of Mozilla, like to restart, I have to control/alt/delete and stop the program. Any help would be very greatly appreciated. I've never had this problem before. Lots of Mozilla crashes, yes, but not this.

Separate Issue; Your System Details shows;

Installed Plug-ins

Shockwave Flash 15.0 r0 Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.

Flash is notorious for not cleaning out the older version as part of an update. Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac Then reinstall the latest version.

That could be the result of your theme, or an add-on.

Type about:addons<Enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Appearance. Select the default theme and see if there is a change.
