Will Thunderbird transfer to Windows 8.1?

I'm upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1 and wondering if Thunderbird (31.3.0) email, files, etc. will transfer automatically to 8.1 without loss of data. I used Windows Upgrade program to find out if TBird was compatible, but neither TB or Firebox is listed. Need some direction. Many thanks. Mike

lots of people running both Thunderbird and firefox on windows 8.1 But it is always prudent to make a backup of profiles when contemplating a Major OS update.
