Plugin Checker Not Loading/Checking Properly

Today I tried to check my plugins to see if they were up to date, as one should do on a regular basis in order to keep things running smoothly.

However, when I tried to check, all I got was this: http://i.imgur.com/gI1rlqH.png The page would complete loading, but the plugin information would not load.

I manually checked the plugins I frequently use, and all are up to date...so I doubt that is the cause. My Firefox version is more or less up to date...so that's probably not the cause either. I checked the page while in Safe Mode; that did not get me any results. The issue was still there. So that's probably not the problem either. I doubt internet connection is an issue too, as my internet is fairly good and usually this page loads no matter the signal strength.

I have not done anything new to either my laptop or the browser, so I am wondering what is causing the Plugin Checker to not load the way it should.

hi ponyparty, please try the following: go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > plugins, set the "java deployment toolkit" to never activate and then try to use the plugincheck page again...

@philipp I just tried your suggestion. No luck there, even after restarting my browser.

Also, it appears I am not the only one with this issue. I just spotted another thread describing the same issue.

ok, this appears to be a sever-side problem at the moment. hopefully mozilla's webops will fix it soon...

it should be working again now if you force refresh the site...
