Is it possible that Mobile Firefox can change my email settings?

I downloaded Firefox for Mobile this morning and noticed that if I delete an email on my phone, even though the settings are set to never delete, that it deletes from my webmail. I have logged into my webmail accounts and watched it happen. I do not believe it was happening prior to the download.

The phone is a Moto G attached to Freewheel.

Webmail does not copy the mail to your phone. It provides a remote view of the mail on the mail provider's server. Changes you make will affect all devices you connect to your mail.
