Every time I open facebook using firefox I get about 3 x rated posts on my timeline. I delete and around 5 minutes later it happens again. Never happens if I open facebook using internet explorer. I tried in safe mode on firefox and it did not happen. I have ran virus searches with AVG and nothing comes up. What can I try or do?

Tks for all you have done, appreciated.

If it does not work in the next few days, what then?

What malware scanners did you try?

Did you try AdwCleaner?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Tried heaps of malware antivirus software, all say clean.

Tried new profile and this is what I now have, where is the browser? Or how do I get to it. You must remember I know nothing about computers
