The title of visited sites is usually highlighted with a color like purple . After closing the browser and reopeninmg at a later date, how can you insure that the highlighted site is still highlighted. Specifically, is there a way to specify how many days , after closing the browser, the site will remain highlighted?

Chosen solution

With most sites they will remain that way unless you take some action to clear the History, or to forget about that site. The History will not be saved in the first place if you are using Private browsing See also

Are you using "Clear Recent History" either manually or "when Firefox closes"?

No. I have used " remember history" without success.
