Issue: Clicking "get Messages" results in downloaded messages that do not show in Inbox. Was working ok until 3 days ago. Can get emails on my ISP web site. This is 2nd incident; fixed the first time using solution 3 below.

Using TB ver 38.2.0 on Windows 7-64 bit.

Have tried these with no fix: 1. Restart TB and restart with add-ons disabled. 2. Restart OS in safe mode w. networking. 3. Reset Inbox via Inbox properties (tried twice). 4. Confirmed TB account configuration is correct.

One more attempt to fix that failed today: uninstall TB, reinstall, restore profile using Mozbackup (all 3 of which were successful); the problem still remains.

Unless I get help, next step will be to find another email client.

No help, so I've switched to EM Client. I saved my TB profile, in case someone offers a solution.

Yep! I have the same issue. Nothing was changed on my computer, just failed one day. Rechecked all the info, reinstalled, nothing.

As it has turned out, after about a month of EM Client, it malfunctioned also, so I reinstalled Tbird, which is currently running ok.

It now seems to be working - weird, but I am thrilled! Simon
