A box popped up saying that Firefox on my iPad is in danger of virus attack and need to call an 800 number. Is this from you and I should call? If not, . . .
A box popped up on Firefox when I tried to get on the Internet, and that I need to call an 800 number to get this correct. Is this from Firefox and I can trust it? If not, how do I get rid of this box. The only answer on it is "okay" but even when I click it, the box will not go away.

You should never respond to a message to call a specific number or install cleanup/repair software. That will likely getting you in trouble (you do not know where you end up) and Mozilla will never use this method.

I've never heard of such a popup, but I can tell you it's not from Mozilla. Can you capture a screenshot of it and post it here?

Thank you for your help. I contacted Firefox and they fixed the problem. Don't know what they did but glad that the box disappeared. Thanks.

Contacted Firefox?
Firefox is name of web browser as Mozilla is the company that makes Firefox. Mozilla does not have one on one contact by phone, chat or email.
