Some of BING Features Stopped Working

I am running Windows 8.1 Professional on my laptop. I have Bing as my home page. Sometime within the last few days many of Bing features stopped working with Firefox (they still work with browsers like IE and Maxthon Cloud). I can open Bing and do a web search but suggestions or auto complete aren't available anymore! Also my screen name, tools symbol, and number of searches aren't showing on the top right of the page. When I put my pointer on the Office Online on top of the page I don't get the box with available apps. If I am doing a picture search and put the pointer on a picture it will start flashing instead of showing me the picture in a larger size with some info. Options just above the pictures don't open ( for example if I click on the image size option nothing happens; I can't choose image size anymore). Last but not least Bing stopped playing the video preview like it used to when I set the pointer on a certain video.

Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the down arrow next to the AdBlock icon. Now select Disable on <web site>.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
- Clear the Cache and
- Remove Cookies
Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to.
Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar.
- Cookies; Select Privacy. Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings. Press the button on the right side called Show Cookies. Use the search bar to look for the site. Note; There may be more than one entry. Remove All of them.
- Cache; Select Advanced > Network. Across from Cached Web Content, Press Clear Now.
If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;
Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?
Then restart.

Thank you very much for the detailed and super fast reply. Following your recommended steps did solve my problem but unfortunately I figured out the culprit was Adblock Plus which was working great until few days ago. The reason I first switched to Firefox was that "Adblock" stopped working with IE when I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Professional and I had so many add ons in IE that I gave up trying to figure out which one was the problem. I really like to keep using Firefox but one of the main reasons (by no means the only one) was the ability to use Adblock Plus extension.
Any suggestions on getting Adblock Plus extension working again with Bing is highly appreciated

Thanks again for all your help. The solution did work with one little extra step I have to take which is to open the video again in You Tube using the link at the bottom of the page otherwise it will be displaying Google adds while playing the video and each time I close an add another one will appear almost right away!!! I hope that You Tube won't follow Bing soon and make us disable Adblock Plus if we want to watch a video!!!
