Undelivered emails
I have had had this error message a couple of times when sending an email to a friend in South Africa. Any ideas?
This is the mail system at host know-smtprelay-6-imp. I am sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. The message is attached below. The remote mail system said: Your access to this mail system has been rejected due to the sending MTA's poor reputation. It's telling you that at some point on its journey to South Africa your message has been forwarded by a computer which, in the view of another computer later in the chain, has a poor reputation. I guess that's a euphemism for sending lots of spam. So the later computer is rejecting everything that comes via the disreputable computer, including alas the email you sent. You could contact your email service provider to see if they know anything about it; you could also try sending from a different email address if you have one. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Message_transfer_agent
