I wish to remove the "local folder" from my email start page.

On my start page I have two folders - my pop 3 account with sub folders like inbox, junk, trash, drafts, etc... and another labled "local folders" which has subfolders of junk . I don't believe that I need the "local folders" but can't figure out how to remove it.

Local folders is a default folder for thunderbird and you cannot remove it. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Local_Folders
