Thunderbird receives an e-mail to rwardallen@verizon.net. To large for complete download because of settings. Clicking on do download receives no response. High lighting download message shows link address on task bar with bwardallen@verizon.net as address for download. This is another address in my address book but do not believe to be correct.

Chosen solution

Check your settings: Right click on mail account name in Folder Pane and select 'Settings'

If POP mail account:

  • select 'Disc Space'

under 'To save disc space, do not download:'

  • Uncheck 'Messages larger than'
  • click on OK

If IMAP mail account:

  • select 'Synchronisation & Storage'

under Disc Space

  • Uncheck 'Don't download messages larger than'
  • click on OK

Thanks for reply. Believe can allow larger e-mails if desired. Problem of trying to download to different e-mail address "bwardallen@verizon.net" is where I don't understand the issue. Why does this attempt to download rest of message to another e-mail. That is my question..... rwardallen
