Thunderbird will open. I can see my email boxes and a list of email up until the update completed and restarted at 2:11 PM today, 9/2/2016. Now I cannot open any menus. I have uninstalled the calendar and opened in Safe mode. Still cannot view email, add, delete, etc. Cannot not even tell the version the update completed because the menu is dead. Checked Windows control panel and see that Thunderbird is version 49.0

I want to roll back the update and get my functionality back without a new install, new profile, moving folders, etc.

Cannot open troubleshooting information even. Help

Forget the above. I went to the release channel and installed 45.3.0 over the top of the Beta and am now back in service. Sorry for the panic attack.

We've seen reports like this before. Typically caused by an addon. And I think one example required calendar addon to be deleted, not just disabled, then reinstalled
