characters when typing passwords double
When I log in to any account, whether it is a bank account or Ebay, I type in my username. When I am prompted to type in a password, each letter or character is doubled. i.e, if my password is Deb123, when I type the password it shows up on the screen as: DDeebb112233. I cannot backspace to remove the double characters. I have uninstalled your software and reinstalled it, but this is still happening. I am now unsure when using Firefox and have stopped using it unless I am doing a Google search. Any suggestions?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
