Followed instructions for downloading YesScript, but Tools/Add-ons does not provide a YesScript option, search for YesScript sends me back to YesScript download and I'm in the infinite loop. I've been happy with Firefox for years, but should I give up and switch to Chrome ?

Hi

Add-ons for Firefox are developed by a large community of independent contributors. In the first instance I would recommend that you contact the developer of the add-on that you are trying to install from the support details listed on the page that you have downloaded the add-on from.

To install YesScript, all you have to do is:

  1. Visit the add-on page at the Mozilla add-ons site.
  2. Select the green Add to Firefox button.
  3. Let the add-on install.
  4. Restart Firefox.

after you have instalkled yesscript it should place a button in the firefox toolbar. if it didn't you can drag it there when you go into customization mode: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars

you can also adjust yesscript preferences when go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions panel and hit the settings button next to yesscript there...
