PDF Forms appearently don't work in Firefox PDF viewer.
Is there a solution to open the PDF form in the browser without downloading and submit the form to a server? I have a PDF with a AcroForm. It gets displayed in the browser, but I can't edit any field or submit the form. Is this even possible in Firefox or is this not even implemented?
Thanks

The PDF.js feature that is inside of Firefox is supposedly being replaced in the near future. More than likely that change will occur with Firefox 57, IMO.

Hi
Unfortunately, Firefox currently doesn't support filling forms in PDF files. You will have to download the file and open the file in an application that is able to handle this kind of file. There should be a button on the toolbar of the built-in PDF viewer to open the PDF file in an external application.
Thank you very much for your answer. Do you have an idea, if there are any plans to add this in the future or if it is more likely, that this will not implemented?

You can see that the original bug is very old. One of the problems seems to be what to do with the filled form (save/print).
