I'm assuming you have already created the mail account and for some reason need to update the stored password. I'm also assuming you are using Windows OS.

If I have misunderstood your issue, please elaborate a bit more.... if this is an older account you need to modify or whether you are trying to create a mail account etc.

'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Options' > 'Security' > 'Passwords' tab click on 'Saved Passwords' button click on 'Show Passwords' button Right click on the smtp line for btinternet account and select 'Edit Password' Modify the password. Click on 'Done' Click on 'OK'
