I have created an extension for chrome. when I install it with about:debugging and load temporary addons it works fine. the problem is when I pack the extension and sign it in AMO, when I want to install the .xpi file, the firefox says that the file is corrupted. the version of my firefox is 55.0

What do you mean with "I pack the extension"?

Are you uploading the same XPI file as you used for the temporary installation?

The difference with signing should only be the addition of the META-INF folder with the manifest and the certificate information.
