In changing from Eudora 7, can I import the Notes portion into Thunderbird?
Windows 10 updates are clarifying that eventually I will sadly need to chose another e-mail client method. I have vast amounts of contact information in the Notes portions of each Eudora contact (Nickname) Can the content of the Notes portions be imported into Mozilla?

I do not know for sure, but if Eudora can export it to CSV format. I am sure the necesary fields can be allogned to include the "notes" from eudora into the notes field in Thunderbirds address book. My only concern would be that the notes in Eudora may have allowed for more notes. But I would expect a minimum of 16,000 characters and probably 64,000 as the upper limits in Thunderbird..

Thank you, Matt. Do you mean Thunderbird would import 64,000 characters total for Notes of all contacts, or for each contact in the Address Book?
I have perhaps 6,000 contacts with with personal information, from over 20 years of using Eudora.
I am taking a guess based on the normal sizes of data elements in programing languages. Normally free text has a 16k or 64k limit on the field. But my assumption is per contact. Not an aggregate figure.
