When I try to import data from another browser, only IE and Edge are listed, not Chrome. I do have the dev channel of Chrome installed, and I was able to import the bookmarks using an HTML file.

So I have to ask what is the issue that Chrome is missing. Import/Export by HTML has been there since Netscape days and is intended to do what you did. There is not a Support Issue, nor is it a Bug Issue here.

To submit suggestions for new or changed features, may I suggest: Feedback: https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Maybe that specific dev channel uses a profile folder that Firefox doesn't find and only the regular Google Chrome version is supported.

I guess the main issue is that according to Firefox's support documentation, Chrome should show up. Perhaps this should be a bug report instead.
