I'm having problems with browsing and clicking on links in emails using Outlook365. After I click on a email and try to scroll down the page (or click on a link), either nothing happens or I am redirected back to Inbox. It's as if the scrolling action is applied to the Inbox - I am usually redirected to further down the Inbox page.

I was recently upgraded to Firefox 58.0.1 on a Win7 machine. This did not happen before upgrading. Is there a bug in this latest release?

You need to contact MS Support for Office software issues. FF doesn't have nor control what Ofiice365 does. And it could be a software issue that Office has with the latest FF58 but you have to contact MS support to find if that is the case.
