I need an experienced security guy or hacker to protect my browser and hopefully my network as well.
I fear someone's hacking my network (router with internet connection). With the recommended type of security, I added MAC filtering. Since then, my browser crashes when I search with the word "hacker" or open a website with "hacker" in its URL. I know someone in my area that may know my MAC address and they are near my wifi. I need help, at least with the "hacker" in firefox (and other browsers) problem so I can look up a solution. If allowed, please help me with protecting my network. Please respond quick.

If you are concerned about the security of your system, you should scan for infections on your system. You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller (for more info, see this alternate TDSSKiller download page)
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista if you don't already have one. Windows 8/10 have antivirus protection built-in.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
There are also other security things that you should try, such as resetting your router and changing the SSID and password.
