Mozilla websites do not support the FTP protocol for quite some time, so you need to use the HTTP(S) protocol instead like posted above.

Note that there are a lot of links (domains) that can be used instead to access those Mozilla CDN servers.

I usually access Mozilla via https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ for update my stored copy of the Firefox installer and crash symbols... but with web ftp access going away what will I do if Filezilla won't connect to Mozilla...

so you are saying there is no way to use the FTP client FileZilla to access Mozilla Firefox files for download? ooh well I use the web-browser anyway.. mainly..

Replying to this because it seems that other people are finding this in searches.

The server https://ftp.mozilla.org will continue to work in Firefox because it is a HTTPS sever. The FTP in its name does not indicate that it is using the FTP protocol. The FTP in the name is an artifact of when it was an actual FTP server, a more accurate name for the same server is https://archive.mozilla.org.

Note that in Firefox 90 FTP support has been removed

Note that web extensions can still register themselves as FTP protocol handlers.
