I am posting a link to Google showing the exact search:

https://www.google.com/search?q=youtube+keeps+saing+I%27m+offline+and+I%27m+not+&client=firefox-b-1-d&sxsrf=APq-WBu7aHfrnOVa0HzT6jPq_tlf_BS4cw%3A1647557119919&ei=_7kzYrTKN8StqtsP_pOzEA&ved=0ahUKEwj0xYTHnM72AhXElmoFHf7JDAIQ4dUDCA0&uact=5&oq=youtube+keeps+saing+I%27m+offline+and+I%27m+not+&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAMyCgghEBYQChAdEB4yCgghEBYQChAdEB46BwgAEEcQsAM6BAghEAo6BwgjELACECc6BQgAEKIESgQIQRgASgQIRhgAUM0LWPJJYLBSaAFwAXgAgAGcAYgBgwiSAQMwLjiYAQCgAQHIAQjAAQE&sclient=gws-wiz

Okay that was way longer than I expected short of someone searching the headline their self, but it's the best way to show just exactly what I am seeing.

This started happening a couple of days ago and I do know there have been recent updates to the browser that might have something to do with it.

It's apparently a common, or known, issue, and there is a fix for it for Chrome, but I can find nothing similar for Firefox except some crazy command prompt that I'm not even going to try to attempt,

I've spoken to my IPS twice this week already and everything is good. I don't have any real issue with any other sites and seem to be able to surf normally.

I had thought it was a Youtube issue, maybe it is, but it's obviously an issue people have had before and it seemed to be a network issue in the browser, or as much as I got out of the Chrome fix video.

If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it. If it continues, then I suppose I will have to switch to using Chrome, or only use Chrome for Youtube, or quit Youtube all together.

But the error is consistent, annoying & frustrating when I have to reload (which doesn't seem to help) or switch to another tab (which dosn't always help) just to watch videos.

Thank you.

I can confirm the issue is with Firefox. It's not happening in Chrome or the Edge browsers.

I opened the browser in safe mode and didn't have a problem. Then reopened the browser and went back to Youtube and started going though my add-ons.

The culprit was my ad-blocker ( I rotate between two, Ad-Block and Ad-Block Plus) Mind you, these weren't giving me an issue on YouTube before this week, but the site did seem to be loading hard and finally, or apparently (though I don't know why it took them so long to do it) they are forcing you, or at least me, to turn ad-blockers off in order to use the site freely. Or so it seems.

I tried either ad-on and both are causing problems with YouTube, unless I toggle them off and want to see ads all the time. That said, I've been viewing the site all day in Chrome using Ad-Block plus and so far haven't experienced any problems--yet.

I don't know if I uninstalled the ad-blockers and re-installed them would make a difference but I will try that next.

Thank you for responding.

I would be curious if anyone is having the same issue or just me. The site wasn't collapsing on me this bad last week. My first thought was that there was a compatibility with YouTube altogether. I knew it wasn't my internet. Didn't make sense. I was being blocked out. Moving forward, it may not get any better. Will see how long Chrome lasts, but then again, both are owned by Google.
