After Thunderbird upgrade to Supernova, scroll wheel stopped working. "Mark" message in toolbar works differently

more options

Right after upgrading Thunderbird to Supernova on my Windows desktop, the scroll wheel on my mouse stopped working. This is just within Thunderbird, the scroll wheel works fine for everything else in Windows.

Is there a fix? If not, is it possible I can revert back to Thunderbird pre-Supernova? This is really annoying, that one convenient feature missing knocks Thunderbird far down below other mail software.

Add to that the "Mark as" button on the toolbar no longer works as it did before. Used to be able to just click it to toggle the status of the message, a one-click method of marking a message as read or unread.

If the 'Read status' column is enabled in Table View, a dot icon indicates read/unread: green if unread, grey if read. Clicking the dot toggles the status.

Excellent alternative, thank you! Now I'm back to one-click status changes until the toggle button on the menu bar is brought back.

So both of my issues have been resolved. Scroll-bar not working was fixed by turning off Hardware Acceleration in the settings.

Press the M key to toggle read/unread.

I realize the Mark button works differently in 115, but I don't know if this is intentional or not. If you like, you can submit a report to Bugzilla asking for the previous action to be restored.

AIUI the current behavior of the Mark button is indeed changed, but there is investigation to bringing back the toggle capability.

The green dot solution does not work. The dot is too small to easily target with a mouse. If the email is selected the dot turns from green to uncolored so you don't know whether to select it or not.

Yes, I'm realizing it's not as nice as the toggle button, sometimes my clicks miss the dot. Hopefully the toggle button returns soon. My wife seems to have no problem because she uses a lower screen resolution so everything is bigger on the screen. For me though, not really cutting it.
