OAuth fails on Windows - browser window hangs after permissions are granted
I am unable to login into Gmail, nor Exchange 365 on Windows with OAuth2.
In the Google auth flow, clicking "Allow" to grant permissions to Thunderbird causes the page to hang and nothing happens.
Chosen solution
Issue resolved. A unknown system service was occupying port 80 and caused the auth flow to fail at the last step. Killing that service solved the issue.
