Normally, you do not need to remove Microsoft Edge to simply make Firefox your default browser. See [[Make Firefox your default browser on Windows]]. That said, certain built-in features of Windows will ignore your default browser and exclusively use Edge. You could check the article [[Setting Firefox as the default browser does not work - What to do]] and see whether there is a fix there. Otherwise, you could submit the question to Google or Perplexity. Not sure Bing will give you a helpful answer. ;-) Regarding Co-Pilot, there was a way to remove it from the Windows 11 Taskbar.
