I use Thunderbird for long time and it worked well until last week, my mail is from Hostinger and outgoing emails stopped working. They still work on hostinger web mail, I remove account on Thunderbird, add again, changed password for email, nothing helps. Incoming mail is all good, all settings are as per data from Hostinger and Thunderbird. Please help, not sure what else to do. this is the message I get every time.

Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.hostinger.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connection. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) setting are correct and try again.

These are my SMTP setting: HOSTINGER smtp.hostinger.com 465 SSL/TLS Normal password

Please Help. Thank you!

Is this a self-hosted account? From my experience, email providers of self-hosted accounts have a tendency to sometimes change the server settings. And, I have experience with Hostinger. My first suggestion is to contact tech support to see if you need to change settings.

According to their published data, your account settings appear to be correct.

If you're using a VPN, disable it and see whether that makes the problem go away. If it does, check whether your VPN has an option called split tunneling which would allow you to let Thunderbird bypass the VPN.

If you use Windows, start in Safe Mode with Networking mode to check whether this could be caused by an antivirus or some other piece of software you have installed interfering with Thunderbird. You may have to connect your computer to the router with an Ethernet cable, WiFi is disabled in Safe Mode:
